A native of the Pacific Northwest, Jeff has been in the music ministry for 21 years, serving as a pianist, organist, choir director, and composer. He earned a BA in Music from Western Washington University and studied jazz piano at Cornish College of the Arts. Since then, Jeff has worked professionally as a pianist, accompanist, composer, and piano teacher. Additionally, he has been active as a community theatre music director, orchestra member, and composer. He also works as an accompanist at Pacific Lutheran University.
In his spare time, Jeff is an avid reader (historical novels, biographies, fiction), likes to bicycle, ski, play croquette, and go fly-fishing.
Music at United Church
The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:15 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. from September through mid-June. Anyone with a desire to raise their voice in song may join.
The Chimes Choir performs periodically and practices occasionally.
A Children's Choir performs periodically and practices during Sunday School and occasionally after church.
